– 4 days depth and pool sessions at Y40-Deep Joy

Prerequisites
– Be an active instructor in any freedive agency
– Be comfortable with DNF and CNF diving
– Be comfortable with monofin technique (no monofin required)

Wave 2 Instructor Requirements
– STA 4min, buddying and rescue procedures
– DNF 60m with good technique
– DYN 100m (bifins/flutter kick), buddying, rescue, support and pool exit of unconscious diver
– DYN Monofin technique demonstration
– CWT 40m (bi-fins, 80-90 sec), technique, buddying
– CNF 30m in good technique
– FIM 40m in good technique
– Open Water Safety
– 25m rescue & 50 tow incl. rescue breaths
– 20m CO2 dive (1min finning arms up before diving)
– 15m Stand-by rescue (1min hang at 15min)
– Entry Exam
– KR lead
– Dry Skill teaching: Bodyscan, EQ, Attention Deconsentration and leading a warmup
– Pool teaching skills: STA, DYN, DNF
– Open Water Skill Teaching: CWT. FIM, CNF
– Final Exam
