Beginner Freediver

This course is aimed at complete beginners who are ready to start their freediving journey. You will learn and perfect basic skills, dive deeper into freediving theory and become a fully competent open water freediver and dive buddy.
Theory
Master basic freediving theory. This is where we turn the mental switch, understanding is 90% of the work done. Learn physiology of freediving, relaxation and breathing techniques, and how pressure affects your body whilst diving. Written Exam.
1x Static Pool Session
Experience your first breath holds in the pool. Practice rescue procedures and learn how to take care of your freediving buddy.
1x Dynamic Pool Session
(horizontal distance in the pool)
We use dynamic pool training to work on body positioning, body alignment and finning technique. Covering all parts including maximum attempts, buddying and rescue procedures.
3x Open Water Session
In the three open water sessions we go progressively deeper. Here you will practice equalisation, duck diving, finning and body positioning whilst uncovering the depths of the Blue. Refining our skills and improving the dynamic of our dives, you will be diving deeper than you ever imagined.
Maximum depth for this course is 20m.
Requirements
Minimum 18 years of age (16 years with parental consent)
Able to swim 200m non-stop without fins and 300m with mask, fins and snorkel.
Complete the AIDA medical certificate
Certification
After completion of course requirements you will receive a internationally recognised certification from AIDA or PADI depending on your choice of course.
